NAEMT is pleased to announce that Trevor Hicks, from St. Augustine, Florida, will be joining the NAEMT Headquarters staff as our new education outreach specialist.
The NAEMT Board created this new position to work with our AMLS, EPC and PHTLS committees and volunteers to expand our education programs to new areas and reach more EMS professionals.
Trevor brings to his position 18 years of prehospital and hospital experience from a varied background including neonatal and pediatric transport, as well as many years of air medical experience for a Level One Trauma Center. Trevor holds a BSBA degree in general management from Thomas Edison State College in Trenton, New Jersey, and is certified by the Board of Critical Care Transport as a flight paramedic.
Along with his field experience, Trevor also bring many years of experience as an EMS instructor in various courses. Trevor has also served as the state coordinator for PHTLS (Florida) for the last four years.
