Artwork: Steve Berry The NAEMT Foundation’s EMS & Rescuer Relief Fund is mounting a special campaign to help EMTs and paramedics affected by the recent floods in the Midwest.
NAEMT President Jerry Johnston contacted members via e-mail on June 30 to begin the fund-raising efforts. NAEMT is also enlisting the aid of its sponsors and partners in this fund-raising effort.
The EMS & Rescuer Relief fund was established after 9-11 and disseminated over $100,000 to the families of the EMS workers who died responding to the terrorist attacks and more than $122,000 to EMS practitioners affected as a result of Hurricane Katrina.
The EMS & Rescuer Relief Fund is administered by the NAEMT Foundation, a nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. NAEMT is absorbing the cost of administering this fund, so every dollar goes to help those in need.
Donations will be accepted by mail, online or by phone using a credit card or a check. Click here to donate online.
